Alison Balsom makes her debut at the Hollywood Bowl

Alison Balsom makes her debut at The Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles on 21 August, performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Nicholas McGegan. Alison performs Haydn's Trumpet Concerto as part of an all Haydn programme - she previously recorded the work for EMI Classics with Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
Recently announced as a winner of a prestigious Echo Klassik award, Alison will return to Los Angeles in April 2013 to perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall as part of a major tour of the US, with regular collaborators The Scottish Ensemble.
