Hailed by The New York Times for her “luminous, appealing, and agile voice” Georgia Jarman’s 2011/12 season included her celebrated debut at the English National Opera as all three soprano roles in Richard Jones’ production of The Tales of Hoffmann, performances of Musetta in La bohème with Pacific Symphony, Elettra in Idomeneo with Florentine Opera and the title role in Massenet’s Manon in Bogota, Colombia.
Russian-American soprano Dina Kuznetsova continues to excel in Slavic repertoire and is praised for her strong vocal performances and expressive abilities on stage. After an outstanding debut portrayal of Dvorak’s Rusalka at last year’s Glyndebourne Festival under Sir Andrew Davis, this season saw her return to the role for Opéra de Montpellier under Lawrence Foster as well as further performances as Tatjana (Eugene Onegin) with Opera Carolina. Dina’s 2012/13 season includes her debut as Lisa (Pique Dame) with the Sydney Symphony under the baton of Vladimir Ashkenazy.
