Five HarrisonParrott artists appear at Münchner Opernfestspiele

Five HarrisonParrott artists appear at the Münchner Opernfestspiele throughout July. Ain Anger, Aga Mikolaj, Barry Banks, Lawrence Zazzo and Camilla Tilling all sing at the Bayerische Staatsoper's summer festival in a range of productions from Rinaldo to Der Ring des Nibelungen.
Ain Anger and Aga Mikolaj appear as Hunding and Freia respectively in Andreas Kriegenburg's production of Der Ring des Nibelungen. Kent Nagano conducts the two Ring cycles that open at Nationaltheater München on 3 July. Two weeks later, Barry Banks sings Mitridate alongside Lawrence Zazzo as Farnace in David Bösch’s production of Mitridate, rè di Ponto, conducted by Mark Wigglesworth from 20 July. The following week on 28 July, Camilla Tilling appears as Sophie opposite Renée Fleming’s Marschallin in Jürgen Rose and Otto Schenk’s production of Der Rosenkavalier, conducted by Constantin Trinks.
