Eivind Gullberg Jensen conducts London Philharmonic at Rheingau Festival

18 July 2012

Eivind Gullberg Jensen conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Rheingau Musik Festival this week. The concert, taking place on 20 July, sees Gullberg Jensen conduct the orchestra with cellist Daniel Müller-Schott in a programme of Dvořák's Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 - a piece he performed to acclaim with the NDR Radiophilharmonie at the Bergen Festival.

The concert comes just after Gullberg Jensen's recent Japanese debut at Sapporo's Pacific Music Festival earlier this month. This season has also seen the conductor make his debut with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and appear with the Münchner Philharmoniker and Truls Mørk.
