Pierre-Laurent Aimard begins European tour with OAE and Rattle

Pierre-Laurent Aimard begins a European tour with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and conductor Sir Simon Rattle. Beginning in Paris's Théatre des Champs-Elysées on 4 June, the following day the tour continues on to De Doelen Rotterdam, with further performances at Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels (6 June), Cologne's Philharmonie (8), Hamburg's Laeiszhalle (9) and concluding in London's Royal Festival Hall on 10 June.
Aimard joins Rattle and the orchestra to perform Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, a work he previously recorded with Pierre Boulez and The Cleveland Orchestra for Deutsche Grammophon in 2010, subsequently nominated for a Gramophone Award.
