Kirill Karabits returns to Glyndebourne Festival Opera to conduct La bohème

Kirill Karabits returns to Glyndebourne Festival Opera to conduct fourteen sell-out performances of Puccini’s La bohème. The opening night takes place on 6 June, with further performances on 9, 14, 17, 21 & 26 June, and 1, 6, 11, 13, 19, 22, 27 & 31 July.
Ekaterina Scherbachenko, with whom Kirill worked earlier this year at the Bolshoi Theatre, takes the role of Mimi and Rudolfo will be sung by Mexican tenor David Lomeli in David McVicar’s revival.
Karabits conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the performances at Glyndebourne, an ensemble he also conducts in July at the Rheingau Musik Festival, performing Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 and Dvořák's Cello Concerto, with soloist Daniel Müller-Schott.
