Paul Agnew conducts La Resurrezione at Opera National de Paris

Paul Agnew conducts a new production of Handel's La Resurrezione with the young artists of the Opera de Paris' Atelier Lyrique. The production directed by Lilo Baur takes place in a completely transformed Amphithéâtre of the Opera Bastille and opens on 30 April.

Next season Paul will also make two debuts conducting Handel's Messiah, with the Royal Scottish National and the Norwegian Chamber orchestras and will return to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic to sing-direct Bach's St John Passion following his acclaimed Messiah with the orchestra in January 2012.
