Nikolai Lugansky performs Rachmaninov with Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich
Pianist Nikolai Lugansky is in Switzerland to perform with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and conductor Charles Dutoit. The three concerts take place on 25, 26 & 27 April and feature Lugansky performing Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3, with works by Mussorgsky, Roussel and Vieier also featuring on the programmes.
The concert is one of many high-profile engagements in Lugansky's current season, coming soon after a series of performances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, also with Charles Dutoit, and recitals at the Wigmore Hall and Vienna's Konzerthaus.
