Lukáš Vondráček wins Unisa International Piano Competition

Lukáš Vondráček has won the 12th Unisa International Piano Competition, held in the ZK Matthews Great Hall at Unisa, South Africa on Saturday 4 February 2012.

Vondráček was also awarded special prizes for the Best Performance of a Classical Concerto with Mozart's Concerto No. 23, and for the Best Performance of a Romantic Concerto with Rachmaninov's Variations on a Theme of Paganini. Vondráček also won the John Roos Special Jury Prize. Lukáš' next performance is with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the Royal Festival Hall this week.
