Pekka Kuusisto makes his debut with Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra

Pekka Kuusisto makes his debut with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra giving two performances at the Oslo Konserthus (26 & 27 January). He will perform Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto under the baton of fellow Finn Jukka-Pekka Saraste, in a programme that also includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 4. Kuusisto will work with Saraste again in March, this time in Toronto, with two performances of Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1 accompanied by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (29 & 31 March).
