Michael Sanderling signs with HarrisonParrott
HarrisonParrott is delighted to announce the signing of conductor Michael Sanderling.
Sanderling has appeared with such orchestras as the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Staatskapelle Dresden, SWR Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart, Berner Symphonieorchester, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Forthcoming concerts include engagements with the Zürcher Kammerorchester, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra as well as tours with the Dresdner Philharmonie - with whom he is Chief Conductor.
Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Kammerakademie Potsdam between 2006 and 2010, Sanderling has made international guest appearances and recorded several CDs with the ensemble, including a recording of Shostakovich's Chamber Symphonies for Sony Classical. He has also recorded for Naxos, BIS and Berlin Classics - his latest disc is with the Dresdner Philharmonie on the GENUIN label and features orchestral works by Tchaikovsky, Fauré and Prokofiev.
Sanderling will join HarrisonParrott for worldwide representation (excluding Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain).
