Four new singers sign with HarrisonParrott

HarrisonParrott is delighted to announce the signing of singers Allison Cook, Meredith Arwady, Zach Borichevsky and Matthew Treviño.

Mezzo-soprano Allison Cook's current season highlights include a critically-acclaimed debut at Teatro alla Scala as the Marquise de Merteuil in the world premiere of Luca Francesconi’s Quartett as well as Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde) at the Prague State Opera and Adalgisa (Norma) on tour in the Netherlands.

Contralto Meredith Arwady - joining HarrisonParrott for European representation - recently made her role debut as Erda (Siegfried) and is shortly to make her role debut as First Norn (Götterdämmerung) for Oper Frankfurt, returning for complete cycles of Der Ring des Nibelungen at the end of the season. Also this season she performs Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Bernard Haitink and Mahler's Symphony No. 8 at the Aspen Festival with Robert Spano.

Tenor Zach Borichevsky makes his debut this season as Matteo (Arabella) at the Sante Fe Festival under Sir Andrew Davis and sings Alfredo (La traviata) with Knoxville Opera. He makes role debuts as Pelléas (Pelléas et Mélisande) and Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore) at the Academy of Vocal Arts.

Bass Matthew Treviño is a former member of the San Francisco Opera's prestigious Merola programme. His upcoming engagements include his role debut as Don Giovanni with Opera Naples, Timur (Turandot) at Austin Lyric Opera, the King (Aida) for Arizona Opera, and Leporello (Don Giovanni) with Opera Colorado.
