Alison Balsom performs Seraph with James MacMillan

Following the successful international release of her latest album 'Seraph' two weeks ago and its subsequent rise to the top of the classical charts, Alison Balsom performs the French premiere of the piece from which the album takes its name this week. She appears with the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées under the baton of Seraph’s composer, James MacMillan. Alison also performs Shostakovich’s Concerto for Piano, Trumpet and String Orchestra with pianist Simon Trpčeski.
