US broadcast for Mari and Håkon Samuelsen's Christmas Concert

Mari and Håkon Samuelsen's A Christmas Concert from Norway, the hugely popular festive event in Hamar, Norway, is to be broadcast in high definition throughout the US on the PBS network, following on from the tremendous success of previous concert broadcasts.

Begun in 2004 by Mari and Håkon Samuelsen, the 2011 concert presents both traditional holiday and classical music. Hosted by Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, featured performers include the Samuelsen duo, Sylvia Schwartz, Tine Thing Helseth, The Trondheim Soloists, Collegium Vocale and members of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
