Paavo Järvi awarded Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

Conductor Paavo Järvi has been awarded the Chevalier de L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by Frédéric Mitterrand, the French Minister of Culture and Communication. Järvi, who is currently serving as the Music Director of Orchestre de Paris, joins a select group of individuals honoured for their significant contributions to art and literature. The award has been given for the past fifty years by the French Government.
