Sayaka Shoji begins her tour of Japan with St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra

Sayaka Shoji begins her tour of Japan with the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra under Yuri Temirkanov. She performs Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto at Sinfonia Iwakuni, Hiroshima (30 October), at Suntory Hall, Tokyo (1 November) and at Granship Shizuoka, Shizuoka (2 November). She will then go on to appear in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka with the Sydney Symphony under Vladimir Ashkenazy, playing Beethoven's Violin Concerto on 7, 9 & 12 November.
