Sakari Oramo makes his London orchestral debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra on 28 October, conducting a varied programme of Bax, Saariaho and Sibelius. The performance, the first of the orchestra's Sibelius cycle, features his Luonnotar and Symphony No. 3 paired alongside Saariaho's song cycle Leino Songs, receiving its UK premiere.
