Rumon Gamba makes his debut at Harpa Hall

Rumon Gamba returns to Reykjavik to conduct concerts with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for the first time since his last performance as Chief Conductor and Music Director of the orchestra, a position he held between 2002 and 2010. The concerts, the first of which also sees him make his debut at Reykjavik’s new Harpa Hall, feature Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 with soloist Denis Matsuev and Holst's The Planets. Performances take place on 3 & 4 November.
