Oliver Knussen tours major US orchestras

Oliver Knussen returns to the United States in order to work with a number of orchestras over the coming weeks. He will conduct concerts with Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (29 & 30 October), National Symphony Orchestra Washington (3, 4 & 5 November), Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (10, 12 and 13 November) and Seattle Symphony Orchestra (17 & 19 November). Programme highlights include Berg’s Chamber Concerto with soloists Leila Josefowicz and Kirill Gerstein in Saint Paul and Knussen will again collaborate with Josefowicz for his own Violin Concerto in Seattle. He also works alongside soloist Peter Serkin, who will perform Duet by George Benjamin in Washington.
