Lisa Batiashvili performs with David Zinman and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich

Lisa Batiashvili performs the Barber Violin concerto with David Zinman and the Tonhalle Orchester-Zürich at Zurich's Tonhalle this week, with concerts taking place on 5,6 & 7 October. Batiashvili goes on to perform the same concerto in Paris with David Zinman and the Orchestre National de France later in the month, with performances of the Shostakovich Violin Concerto No. 1 following in November with Jonathan Nott and Bamberger Symphoniker. This latter work also features on her acclaimed latest CD for Deutsche Grammophon: 'Echoes of Time'.
