Rumon Gamba begins his tenure as Chief Conductor of Aalborg Symfoniorkester with a concert on 22 September 2011. Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 is preceded by Britten’s Russian Funeral, as well as his Violin Concerto, with soloist Chloe Hanslip.
