Lilli Paasikivi and Susan Bullock perform with Berliner Philharmoniker

This week, Susan Bullock and Lilli Paasikivi perform three concerts of Mahler's Symphony No. 8 with Sir Simon Rattle and the Berliner Philharmoniker. Paasikivi steps in at late notice for an indisposed Karen Cargill, and joins Bullock following her acclaimed performance in the Last Night of the Proms. 

The first performance, on 15 September, will be in a sold-out concert at Berlin's Philharmonie, with further concerts on 17 & 18 September. The latter of these performances is also the first of the orchestra's highly-anticipated live "cinecasts" to cinemas across Germany and the UK.
