Leila Josefowicz appears with Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Philharmonie Berlin on 6 September, performing Salonen’s own Violin Concerto. This work is closely associated with Josefowicz, who gave the world premiere with the composer and the LA Philharmonic in 2009. Also on the programme are works by Busoni and Sibelius' Kullervo.
