Stefan Asbury conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra

Tanglewood Faculty member Stefan Asbury conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra this week in the 'Tanglewood on Parade' Concert on 2 August. He will lead a cast of former Tanglewood Music Center fellows including Stephanie Blythe in Vaughan Williams's Serenade to Music for 16 solo voices as a tribute to head of vocal studies Phyllis Curtin. The event also features conductors Christoph Eschenbach, Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos and John Williams.
