Santtu-Matias Rouvali conducts Residentie Orkest in first ever performance at Lowlands Festival

Santtu-Matias Rouvali returns to The Hague to conduct the Residentie Orkest in two concerts. On 20 August he conducts an open-air concert in the outdoor theatre of the Zuiderpark. The programme includes excerpts from works by Shostakovich, Beethoven, Mozart and Mussorgsky. The following day Rouvali conducts Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10 at the Lowlands Festival, Biddinghuizen, where the Residentie will become the first symphony orchestra to ever perform at the festival.
