Lisa Batiashvili plays Shostakovich at BBC Proms

Lisa Batiashvili performs at the BBC Proms with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Esa-Pekka Salonen this week. On 17 August she plays Shostakovich's First Violin Concerto, a work she recorded for her debut album for Deutsche Grammophon, released in February 2011.
