Teo Gheorghiu makes his US orchestral debut with the Pittsburgh Symphony

Teo Gheoirghiu recently made his US orchestral debut to great acclaim. The 18-year-old pianist performed Beethoven's Third Concerto at the Mann Center in Teo's new home-town of Philadelphia on 9 July. He has previously recorded this work with Musikkollegium Winterthur and Douglas Boyd on the Deutsche Grammophon label, and recently performed it with James Gaffigan and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
