Susanna Mälkki tours Japan with NHK Symphony Orchestra

Susanna Mälkki returns this week to the NHK Symphony Orchestra to conduct a concert at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, before touring throughout Japan. The programme features the Roman Carnival Overture by Berlioz, Symphonie Espagnole by Lalo with violinist Daishin Kashimoto, and Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven. The Tokyo concert takes place on 15 July before concerts in Osaka, Tottori, Matsuyama, Yamaguchi and Fukuoka.
