Krzysztof Urbański makes his debut in Sapporo’s Pacific Music Festival's opening concerts

Krzysztof Urbański makes his debut in the opening two concerts of Sapporo’s Pacific Music Festival this weekend. Under the Artistic Directorship of Fabio Luisi, this is the 22nd festival since it was founded by Leonard Bernstein in 1990. Urbański will conduct Debussy's La Mer, Ravel's Bolero and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10. These concerts follow on from his hugely successful return to the Tokyo Symphony and Osaka Philharmonic orchestras earlier this month.
