Jean-Efflam Bavouzet performs with London Philharmonic Orchestra at BBC Proms

Jean-Efflam Bavouzet is the soloist of the Hungarian-inspired Prom 15 performing Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Vladimir Jurowski’s direction on 26 July. The programme also includes Kodály’s Dances of Galanta and Liszt’s Faust Symphony and will be broadcast live by the BBC Radio 3 and televised on BBC Four three days after the concert on 29 July. Immediately following the prom, Bavouzet journeys to the US to make his debut with the New York Philharmonic at the Vail Valley Music Festival, performing Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major.
