Lilli Paasikivi sings Mahler with Staatskapelle Dresden and Esa-Pekka Salonen

Mahler’s 100th anniversary is celebrated this week as Lilli Paasikivi is the soloist in two performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 in which she sings with the Staatskapelle Dresden under conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen. Concerts take place on Wednesday 18 May at the Semperoper in Dresden as part of the Dresdner Musikfestspiele and Thursday 19 May at the Leipzig Gewandhaus as part of the Mahler-Festival Leipzig.
