Juanita Lascarro sings the title role in Richard Strauss’ opera Daphne - based loosely on a myth from Ovid's Metamorphoses. Claus Guth’s production won the coveted German theatre prize DER FAUST 2010 in November 2010, judged as the best work in the field of music theatre. Conducted by Hans Drewanz, the premiere is on 13 March with further performances on 20, 26 March & 1 April 2011
