Simon Lim performs Verdi's Requiem at Teatro Comunale Giuseppe Verdi, Trieste

Bass-baritone Simon Lim sings his first performance of Verdi’s Messa da Requiem at the Teatro Comunale Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste. This major funeral work was written by Verdi to celebrate the life of the Italian writer and humanist Alessandro Manzoni. Conducted by Carrado Rovaris, the concert take place in Trieste on 4 February and is repeated in Udine on 6 February.
