Sakari Oramo makes his debut with Boston Symphony Orchestra

In a rare North American appearance, Sakari Oramo makes his debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra on 3 February with further concerts on 4, 5 & 8 February. He conducts Prokofiev's Symphony No. 6 and is joined for Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 by Radu Lupu. In addition to his work with the Symphony, Oramo also leads a session on Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 with the students of the Conservatoire.
