David Zinman conducts four concerts with Berliner Philharmoniker and Yo-Yo Ma

David Zinman conducts four concerts with the Berliner Philharmoniker and cellist Yo-Yo Ma next week. The programme, which includes Shostakovich’s Second Cello Concerto and Nielsen’s Fifth Symphony, will also feature the world premiere of Anders Hillborg’s Cold Heat, commissioned jointly by the Stiftung Berliner Philharmoniker, Zurich Tonhalle-Gesellschaft and The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The concert on 15 January will also be broadcast live through the Philharmonie’s Digital Concert Hall.
