Kwamé Ryan awarded Officier dans l'ordre des arts et des lettres by French Minister of Culture

Currently on tour for the final time as Artistic Director of Orchestre Francais des Jeunes, Kwamé Ryan will conduct a concert on 16 December at the Salle Pleyel in Paris with soloist Henri Demarquette, where he will also be awarded the title of Officier dans l'ordre des arts et des lettres - given for significant contribution to art and literature - by Frédéric Mitterrand, the French Minister of Culture. He continues the tour with a performance at the Grand Théâtre de Provence, Aix en Provence on 18 December.
