Alison Balsom makes her debut at the Grafenegg Music Festival

Alison Balsom makes her debut at the Grafenegg Music Festival this week with concerts on 17 & 18 June. The latter is an open-air gala event and will be televised on the national network ORF.  Andrés Orozco-Estrada conducts the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich. Alison will perform a varied programme featuring Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, Libertango by Piazzolla, Three Popular Spanish Songs by De Falla / Berio and They Can’t Take That Away From Me by Gershwin, in which she will be joined by mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter.
