Grubinger signs to Deutsche Grammophon
Martin Grubinger has signed an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon. His first CD, a fusion of percussion music and Gregorian Chant, will be released at the end of August 2010 to coincide with his European tour with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Andris Nelsons, including a performance at Berlin’s Waldbühne. This will be followed with a DVD of his large-scale multi-percussion programme "The Percussive Planet".
