Yakov Kreizberg's career is on a truly international scale. In conjunction with his permanent positions he has works with orchestras such as the Munich Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Philadelphia and Minnesota Orchestras.
His collaboration with Pentatone Classics has been extremely successful, and includes ongoing recording projects with the Netherlands Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras, Vienna Symphony and the Russian National Orchestra. His first disc with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra (Bruckner Symphony No.7) was nominated in two categories at this year’s Grammy Awards.
As the former General Music Director of the Komiche Oper, Berlin, Yakov Kreizberg’s opera house appearances include his recent debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, whilst he had three critically acclaimed productions at Glyndebourne as well as productions for English National Opera, Lyric Opera Chicago, Bregenz Festival and Canadian Opera. In 2007/08 Yakov Kreizberg will return to the Netherlands Opera to conduct Janacek’s Katya Kabanova.
