Continuing her work at the highest level on both international concert and opera platforms, Lilli Paasikivi’s 2007/08 season includes Beethoven Sympyony No. 9 with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Christoph von Dohnányi in London and Vienna, a new production of Carmen at Finnish National Opera, Frick (Die Walküre) at the Salzburg Easter Festival conducted by Sir Simon Rattle, and Elgar’s Sea Pictures with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra.
