Jonas Alber has made quite a name for himself with some highly acclaimed symphonic concerts, sensational opera productions and recordings. In the 2006/07 season Jonas Alber made his debut with The Hague Residentie Orkest in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, performing Richard Strauss’ Alpine Symphony, followed by his debut with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.
In March 2007 Jonas Alber conducted the world première of Benoît Mernier’s Frühlings Erwachen at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels. Recent engagements include his debut with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Saarbrücken, the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, and he is re-invited to conduct the Residentie Orkest Den Haag.
