2007/08 sees Eivind Gullberg Jensen make a variety of major debuts in Germany including Leipzig Gewandhaus, Munich Philharmonic, Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, NDR Hannover and Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Elsewhere in Europe his debuts include Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, BBC Symphony, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and Salzburg Mozarteum. He also works regularly with Orchestre National de France.

Future engagements include debuts with Oslo Philharmonic, Zurich’s Tonhalle Orchester, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, as well as return visits to the Aspen Music Festival, Orchestre de Paris and Orchestre National de France.

In the opera world, Eivind Gullberg Jensen returns to the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus in summer 2008 for a production of Fidelio with Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Other productions include Martinu’s Greek Passion with Zurich Opera in autumn 2008 and his debuts for English National Opera with Janáček’s Jenůfa in spring 2009 and for Opera National Bordeaux Aquitaine with Carmen in autumn 2009.
