BIOGRAPHY
As a member of the ensemble of Oper Frankfurt Juanita Lascarro has become one of the company’s finest assets earning critical acclaim for her performances as Contessa Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), the title role in Daphne, Antonia (Les contes d’Hoffmann), Manon, Lulu, Suor Angelica, Violetta, Agrippina, as the three soprano roles in Janáček’s The Adventures of Mr Brouček together with her first Zdenka (Arabella) and Musetta (La bohème).
Juanita Lascarro’s current season opens with Ran Arthur Braun and Rob Kearley’s new production of Faust with Opera North as Marguerite. Further appearances at the Oper Frankfurt this season include two new productions with her role debut as Agilea in Tilmann Köhler’s new production of Handel’s Teseo under Felice Venanzoni, as well as performances as Ilia in Jan Philipp Gloger’s new production of Idomeneo under Julia Jones and Karsten Januschke.
