A diverse and distinctive baritone, Christopher Robertson has recently particularly been associated with the role of Nabucco, which he performed to great acclaim at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo, in concert at the Concertgebouw with Robbert van Steijn and at ABAO-OLBE Bilbao, where he returns in the role this season under conductor Massimo Zanetti in a Daniele Abbado production.

"...the remarkable Christopher Robertson, a vigorous Nabucco, with a shining and exquisite baritone, technically strong both in sustaining the line and in the legato, with an unforced and supple sound - but notable mainly for his complete psychological rendition of the character."
