The 2014/15 season sees Ariel Zuckermann’s debuts with the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, the Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais and the Münchner Symphoniker. He returns to the Riga Sinfonietta, Poznań and Wrocław Philharmonic orchestras, Israel Chamber Orchestra and Georgian National Philharmonic in Tbilisi. He also tours with his own ensemble, Kolsimcha, with a programme based on their most recent CD, Contemporary Klezmer, on which he conducted the London Symphony Orchestra.

Last season Zuckermann made his debuts with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra and at Maggio Musicale in Florence. He also returned to work with the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, consolidating his growing reputation in the country.

Ariel Zuckermann’s large repertoire and distinct musical personality have earned him a well-established international career. Appointed Music Director of the Georgian Chamber Orchestra in 2007, a position he held until 2011, he has additionally performed with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi, Bayerische Staatsorchester, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, KBS Radio Orchestra Seoul, Bremer Philharmoniker, Hungarian National Philharmonic and Budapest Festival orchestras, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Bamberger Symphoniker, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Taipei Symphony Orchestra as well as Zurich, Basel and Stuttgart Chamber orchestras, Camerata Salzburg and Riga Sinfonietta. He also conducted a new production of Donizetti’s opera Viva La Mamma in Munich and, recently, a production of Telemann’s comic opera Pimpinone.
