Reviews

"Järvi is a grand master." (5*, BBC Music Magazine, September 2011)

“…the whole largely surges forward to inexorable tragedy, assuming a voice without vocals, polished and shaped by Järvi into a performance of powerful climaxes… the rest was all clarity, mystery and warm breadth from an RSNO on top form.” (The Times, February 2010)

“Thrilling virtuosity and musicianship… a triumph!” (Gramophone Magazine, November 2009)

“Järvi belied his Calvinist-minister demeanour by tugging the LPO towards a final blaze of passion.” (The Times, October 2009)

“Järvi works hand in glove with his soloists and the result is a triumph.” (Gramophone, September 2009)
