Biography

Mark Tucker is a remarkable interpreter of the baroque repertoire and has performed and recorded alongside many of its leading exponents including Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, René Jacobs, Emmanuelle Haim, Ton Koopman, Sir Roger Norrington and Sigiswald Kuijken.

Career highlights include appearances at the Salzburg Festival in Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 under Harnoncourt, at the Edinburgh International Festival in Handel’s Israel in Egypt under Haim, and Galuppi’s L'Olimpiade at Teatro La Fenice.
