Reviews
“The young Finnish soprano Helena Juntunen incarnated the legendary ‘spirit of nature’ as her voice soared, raw and ripe, above the orchestra’s tremulous evocation of the Kalevala’s creation myth. London is unlikely to hear Sibelius like this for quite some time.” (The Times, February 2010)
“Helena Juntunen, one of Finland's most impressive young sopranos, is indeed a spirit of nature.” (The Times, September 2009)
“… the mercurial Helena Juntunen, who has rapidly risen to the top-drawer among Nordic sopranos.” (Seen and Heard International, February 2009)
