Yakov Kreizberg's career is on a truly international scale. In conjunction with his permanent positions he has worked with orchestras such as the Münchner Philharmoniker, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris and the Philadelphia and Minnesota orchestras.

Autumn 2010 sees the launch of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo’s label, OPMC Classics. The first of many releases planned will be a double CD of Stravinsky’s ballets.

Yakov Kreizberg’s collaboration with PentaTone Classics and the Netherlands Philharmonic and Chamber orchestras has been highly successful. His many recordings for Pentatone have included symphonies by Shostakovich (5 and 9) and Dvořák (5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), and a number of discs with Julia Fischer. His first recording with the Wiener Symphoniker – Bruckner’s Symphony No.7 – was nominated in two categories (including best orchestral performance) for the 2006 Grammy Awards.

As the former General Music Director of the Komische Oper, Berlin, Yakov Kreizberg’s opera house appearances include the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, as well as productions for English National Opera, Lyric Opera Chicago, Bregenz Festival, Netherlands Opera and Canadian Opera.
